Winter Issue

November 2013

Greetings from the President
Greeting Quilters:
Just stopping by to say 'Thank You'  to Thumbstall for all the work you did to host our September Member Meeting. All of you did a great job, the facility was wonderful, you were gracious hosts and the food was outstanding.  We all enjoyed ourselves.

Just a reminder, the Educational Scholarships are due at our December meeting and remember that any of your guild members can apply for the scholarships. Your guild's QCNYS delegate must to sign your form.

For those of you who had a quilt show in the passport this year, you need to bring you basket of goodies for the drawing in December.

If you have your quilt done for the New Your Perspective, please bring it to the meeting and give it to Val  Schultz our Vice President and our Quilt Challenge Chair.

See you at the meeting,
Pamela

THE MEETING PROGRAM: Build a Guild
by Debbie Lester, Program Chair

This month I will address the "Block of the Month".  For some guilds it's been there done that and it got boring.  Well...lets change this up.  I have many different options and ideas for you.

If you have tried any of my suggestions so far, please let me know how it worked for your guild.

Every guild is different and will you have to have some patience if you want to make a change.  No matter how small that change is.

You can always email me (Debbie Lester) at lesterhome@rochester.rr.com.  Thanks!
